I knew all along that chocolate was a trigger food and since taking myself off of the medication (as my doctor advised after I had already done it) I knew I could eat it in moderation. But for the past three days it seems as if I have eaten so much chocolate and cheeseburgers. Thankfully, today was much better and the symptoms have seemed to subside for now (which, based on history, means they have subsided until I overdo it again).

As far as the 'join this site' link, I just added it (at least I think I did). If you check midway down the page (under the links to follow me on Twitter and Instagram) the 'join this site' link should appear. Let me know if it doesn't work and thanks for the suggestion (I hope it works)! It's so hard when those cravings hit, especially when you know that having whatever it is you're craving will aggravate your condition. With me, I have to watch my sugar and carb intake, among other things and sugar and carbs is what I enjoy eating the most. Mashed potatoes, toast with butter, practically anything covered in chocolate, even that cheeseburger and fries you had yesterday sounds good. It seems so unfair when other people can enjoy those foods and don't have to suffer any consequences, but it's also unrealistic to say that we're never going to give in sometimes. I guess taking it one day at a time is the key. Also, I've been trying to follow you and I tried signing up by using my email address, but I couldn't remember my password. Have you considered adding a 'join this site' link for followers? I had to do the same thing and it made it a lot easier.
